Summer to Fall #Fashion Transition

Just because Fall is around the corner, that doesn't mean that you have to pack away your girly bohemian tank tops and accessories!

Summer to Fall Fashion 2014

I love this cobalt blue lace tank for both summer and fall. It's a great pop of color and is a really versatile piece as well!

For summer, pair it with dark washed bermuda shorts, a funky fedora, and tstrap sandals.

For fall, boyfriend jeans, a 3/4 sleeve blazer, nude pumps and a clutch in a bold color such as mustard, emerald or orange.

Both outfits are great for a night out with your girlfriends, dinner on a patio somewhere or a date night with your spouse!

What is one piece from your summer wardrobe that will follow you through the fall?

One Dress, Two Seasons #fashion

Take one $80 dress and make it work in two seasons. That is the challenge that I set out for myself on my editorial calendar, and I think I made it work in two very beautiful ways!

Spring to Summer Fashion 2014

On the left we have our Spring look. A beautiful nude dress with a sash detail paired with a short cinched arm structured bolero cardigan, patterned charcoal polka dot tights, and suede pumps. Add in a berry toned clutch and you have a beautiful outfit for a networking event, or even a date night!

Take that same dress, and lighten up the accessories and you have a perfectly balanced outfit for a summer wedding, brunch, baby or bridal shower...really so many events.

If you have a great base piece, like the nude dress above, there is alot that you can do with it to make it last throughout the seasons. This piece could even stretch through the fall with thicker tights, booties and a jacket!

Easter Fashion for Her

As promised, an Easter outfit for mom. This may not be your typical outfit, but you deserve to feel radiant and special!

Easter Fashion for Mom 2014

There is so much that I love about this outfit. Since our toddler boy outfit featured khaki's, I went with a neutral toned sleeveless dress with lots of texture and detail to compliment. Certainly, Dad could wear navy pants so there isn't too much of this tone in the photos or at Easter brunch, but for Mom, I love it.

The accessories need to be bold with this outfit, so I went with structured knock-em-dead cobalt blue pumps. Seriously...I don't have words for them. They're just pretty.

Charcoal clutch to compliment the grey newsboy cap, and gold tone jewelry since the buckle on the clutch is gold as well. Coordinated and polished!

Holidays are just like any other special event. Wear the pieces that you absolutely love, and don't get to wear often as a mom! Put the yoga pants and leggings away, and get a little glam!

Spring #fashion Trends #ootd

Expect to see lots of soft feminine florals and cuts this spring!

Spring Fashion 2014

Green dress
$105 - bardot.com.au

GUESS by Marciano beige pumps
guessbymarciano.guess.com

River Island bracelet
$16 - riverisland.com

I love this combination! The dress is a nod to the cuts of the 50's, but has great detailing with the white nipped collar, and the pattern of the palm leaves. It is feminine and soft, yet unexpected which makes it pretty perfect.

Since the pattern of the fabric is so strong, pair a dress like this with simple nude pumps and a gold bracelet. I chose a bracelet from River Island that has an intricate almost branch like design to compliment the leaves on the dress. At $16, it's a steal!

For the bag, I'm going next to green on the color wheel and opted for a dark plum Michael Kors bag. It also features some gold detailing to compliment the cuff bracelet and nude pumps.

This outfit, in my opinion, would be lovely for a brunch out with your girlfriends, or even a baby shower! Still a little chilly where you are? Add a simple white cardigan, and you're good to go!

Custom Style Constulations and Guide

Something NEW for 2014 that I am offering with my confidence coaching is a custom style consultation and guide. I developed the custom style guides this past December when working with my lovely models for the Women in Business Conference, and each of the three women said that it was such a great resource to have in their toolkit.

What will you find in your style guide? 6 pages of outfits, all detailed as to why they were chosen for you and why they will work for you. Six beautiful outfits for whatever phase you are in at the current moment.

It all begins with a style consultation via Facebook or Skype {or in person if you are local}. We chat about where you are in life, what you do for a living, what you are passion about and how you want to present yourself. We identify the area where you struggle most {casual, business, trends, dressy, etc.} and then I get creative!

Book your appointment now, as limited spaces are available! Only a few clients are being taken on every month, and right now you can get this awesome service for $75! (originally $100)

Maternity Style - ruched stripe dress by Jules et Jim Maternite

A few months ago, I found this beautiful company based out of Quebec, Canada called Jules et Jim Maternite. Founded by two husbands who loved to see their pregnant wives look stylish, trendy and beautiful. Jules liked his wife to be sexy, while Jim preferred a more refined look. A maternity fashion house was born, and boy...is it beautiful!

Last week, I spoke at the Women in Business Conference about style and confidence, specifically how to update your existing wardrobe, be trendy and enter a room with confidence. I was so excited to wear my new Jules et Jim Maternite striped dress, and knew that it would be perfect paired with grey leggings and black boots.

The minute that I slipped into it, I felt amazing. It hugged every single curve, made my belly look amazing, and felt incredibly comfortable. And thankfully, since it was super cold the day of the conference, it was lined.

When I stepped on the stage, I most certainly felt confident. This dress just fit so well that there was no way I was going to not feel amazing in it.

It's true what they say, that when you love what you are wearing you naturally have more confidence in yourself and that exudes to everyone that you meet. Every piece that I have seen in the Jules et Jim Maternite collection, both Spring and Winter, are pieces that will make your feel extraordinary. Their fabrics are stretchy and flatting. The color selections are trendy and current. The patterns are luxurious and the detailing sublime.

If you're looking to update your maternity wardrobe, to hug your curves and make you feel truly exceptional, take a look at Jules et Jim Maternite. They will make you and your baby bump look like the amazing hot mama you are!

Disclaimer: I was sent this gorgeous dress from Jules et Jim Maternite for the purposes of this review. All opinions expressed are my own.
