How To Make Dessert Buffet Tent Cards

One element to a party that I always make sure to do are food and dessert table tent cards. It involves a little bit of graphic design, and a little bit of craftiness, but I find that it pulls together your party theme really nicely.

Materials Needed
FREE downloadable printouts

  • to customize these, upload the jpg to PicMonkey then add your types of food to each tag
Cardstock
Glue {I used Aleene's Tacky Glue as that's what I had on hand}
Scissors
Optional: straight cutter

How-To

Your first step is to embellish your main cardstock. I cut a thin strip of accenting gold cardstock, glued it down and then trimmed the excess off.

Next, you want to glue down your printed label, then fold the paper to make a tent card.

Carefully line up the cutting lines, and trim off the excess paper.

And voila! Beautiful tent cards for your party!

These tent cards were for the bridal shower I hosted for my sister in law. Some other themes you could use them for would be....

Ties and Tutu's gender reveal party
Ballerina Birthday party
Little Man baby shower
Globetrotting bridal shower or engagement party
Garden Tea Party bridesmaid luncheon

The possibilities are endless, and now I want to throw all of those parties!

Thanks for the great idea!! I was trying to download the template for the labels but it charges to download. Is there another way to download? Maybe you can send me a PDF. Thanks again!! ednaecorona@gmail.com

The color combination used in these tent cards are just awesome. Whether it is two or three sided table tents and even if they are going to be presented for bridal shower or some restaurant, they must be attention grabbing.
