Rocks
Glamour Dust Glitter Paint
Self Adhesive Magnets
This project is perfect for toddlers! Our first step is to wash and dry the rocks, which is an easy step to get your toddlers involved.
Next, simply paint the rocks and allow to dry. The paint takes approximately 5 minutes to dry, which is great for a toddlers attention span.
The base coat will dry clear, so keep that in mind when you are choosing your rocks. Any color variations in the rock themselves will show through the paint, so be sure to choose coordinating colors to make the most of this project.
I applied two coats of paint to make the shimmer really pop, especially on the Champagne and Turquoise Sparkle rocks. Once the final coat is completely dry, apply your magnets to the underside.
Press firmly to ensure a good seal, and let them sit for a few minutes before putting them on the fridge; the last thing we want are rocks falling off!
Now your Chic Glitter Rock Magnets are ready to put on any metal surface!
Here are some trendy color combinations using DecoArt Glamour Dust Glitter Paint
Tiger Orange + Turquoise Sparkle + Sizzling Red = Southwest
Emerald + Limelight + Neon Green = Ombre Green
Copper + Champagne + Ice Crystal + Gold Glitz + Silver Bling = Metallic
Champagne + Celebration Pink + Gold Glitz = New Neutrals
