Finding Joy

This months coaching moment is about finding joy

So often in life, we get wrapped up in planning for the next phase that we disregard where we are in this very moment. We don't take near enough time to stop, consider where we are, what is around us, how we are feeling and the people that are in our our lives and make us better people.

Do you find joy in the ordinary?

Powerful question, eh?

Maybe it's a rainy day or thunder storm {I have a profound love for them, as long as it doesn't come with insane amounts of tornado like wind}, or the first bloom in your garden. The ordinary things in our lives are what shape us and make us take stock of where we are, in that moment.

Find your joy.

I think one of the hardest things in life is to do just that - find joy in the ordinary aka being content with who we are and what we have. It's good to stop and think about that - thank you!

I like being able to enjoy coffee and a good book and just relax during one of my days off.

Nice note, Snan. Sometimes the little things can keep us sane when we're dealing with big issues. I like to go for a walk, play with my cat, or grab a cup of coffee sometime. It can really make a difference...
