Cozy Winter #Fashion Trends for Her

A recent fashion trend that I am in love with is the cape. It is perfect for fall and winter, and looks lovely when paired with boots, jeans and a sweater.

While it might not be your everyday, go-to piece of winter outer wear, they are beautiful statement pieces to have in your winter wardrobe.

Doesn't the whole outfit just look cozy and luxurious? I love this cape in particular because it is reminiscent of the equestrian trends that we have seen this year, and pairs really nicely with the structured light tan riding boots, and the leather gloves. The contrast between the dark charcoal and light tan is beautiful, then the poop of red brings another dimension to the outfit.

Trendy Beach Cover-ups #fashion #summer

Summer is in full swing, and if you're headed to the beach this weekend, a cover-up is likely in your beach bag or on your shopping list.

If you have a basic swimsuit, you can get funky with your cover-up. Consider trendy patterns and details like eyelets, chevron, quatrefoil, tribal prints and color blocking.

My favorite of the cover-ups featured above is definitely the bold blue tube style dress with delicate embroidery. While definitely a splurge, it's beautiful and makes for a great transitional piece when you leave the sand and head for lunch or dinner with your friends.

Coming in a close second is the grey silk chiffon tie front cover-up. I just love the flowy kimono style sleeves. It's more casual than the blue cover-up but it's so lovely!!

Spring Shoe Trends #fashion #shoes

Spring is the perfect time to bring out those beautiful strappy sandals from the back of your closet, find a flirty skirt and head out for brunch with your girlfriends.

My top picks for sandals this spring range from pastels to metallics. Lots of straps, intricate cuts, wedges and even laces.

Nude tones are big this coming Spring, and I love the two pairs above. The one of the top row features a great lace detail and could be paired with a dress, skirt or even a pair of jeans. The ones on the bottom have contrasting two tone nude and really beautiful cut outs.

Basic blacks are paired with gold tone metallics, lots of straps and skinny heels. They are elegant, feminine and sexy all at the same time.

For pastels, I am loving mint and aqua. The mint pair on the top row are very Sex and The City; can't you just see Carrie in a white sparkly dress and these beautiful shoes? The wedges on the bottom row, aside from being sky high, are a great pop of color for any outfit be it jeans or a skirt.

Winter Fashion 2013 and 2014

It's all in the details this winter when it comes to fashion, and making sure that your pieces talk to one another. Compliment one another....fit.

A lot of pretty to process, I know, but let's take it one step at a time, starting with the core of the outfit; jeans and a sweater.

Jeans and a sweater are pretty much staples when it comes to winter fashion. So how do you dress those items up? Pair them with some awesome winter boots, a fabulous studded Michael Kors bag, and a beautiful coat and you have an outfit that can go from running errands to a client meeting at a coffee shop.

In terms of accessories, look at the hardware on your handbag. Gold or silver? Brass or bronze? I like to compliment my metals and not mix and match, so I chose some sparkly silver accessories. The arrow ring is perfect and beautiful, and the sparkly earrings give that shimmer and shine that is usually lacking in the winter months. Put those on and tell me that you don't feel amazing!
