How will you welcome a cure in 2014? For me, it means showing my support on my front porch with one of the beautifully designed Pink Ribbon welcome mats and telling every man and woman that I know to go and get their tata's checked!
These awesome Pink Ribbon welcome mats are machine mashable and backed with rubber, which means that they are perfect for indoor or outdoor use. We chose to put ours outside on the front porch for a couple of reasons.
First and foremost, the teal color pops with all of the beige and grey around it. It's a great addition to our somewhat monochromatic color scheme, and compliments the pumpkins and gourds that we have on the porch for fall!
I also really love the cheeky message on the Pink Ribbon welcome mat. Well, hello! Welcome to our home! Come on in! It is inviting, sincere, and playful, and definitely needs to be on the outside of a home. The pink ribbon shows that we care and that we support the girls, which is the overarching message in this entire campaign.
It's a message that needs to be prominent in our community, and not just because October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It needs to be there, all the time.
