My first job when I was about 11 years old was babysitting for a few families in our neighbourhood. I have fond memories of arriving with my little babysitter kit that was full of activities, crafts and things to do, as well as a treasure box if the kids were really good, they got to pick something.

Now that I'm a parent, I take comfort in knowing that our two wonderful babysitters know exactly how to get a hold of us, and other important people, in the case of an emergency.
