Vacation Inspiration: The Beach

Before we had our son, Owen, the closest that we ever got to the beach was the man made one at the pool where the cabana is {yummiest banana daquiris ever!}. Once Owen came along, I wanted him to feel the sand between his toes, the water rushing up and over his feet, and be able to splash and pla in the waves.

I think it's going to inspire a whole line of beach decor - sculpted bowls with blue washes and sandy accents. The nautical trend is still going strong, so maybe some twisted rope detail...

The beach just inspires a sense of calm, and that's exactly the feeling that I will bring into my work with this collection. Stay tuned!
